The La Center Police Department, located in Southwestern Washington, consists of the Chief, two Sergeants, six patrol officers, four reserve officers and two office staff.

Chief Tim Hopkin has been serving the citizens of La Center since 1986.

La Center Police Officers include:

• Sgt. Jerry Lester - serving since 1993
• Scott Reinecke - serving since 1998
• Rowdy Berry - serving since 2001
• David Bodine - serving since 2004
• Robert Scott - serving since 2006
• Glenn Pavelko - serving since 2006
• Jason Perkins - serving since 2006
• Greg McDonald - serving since 2008

La Center Reserve Officers include:

• James Powers - serving since 2004
• Brian Goldsmith - serving since 2002
• Pamela Holladay - serving since 2008
• Roger Sauve - serving since 2010

The Executive Assistant to the Chief is Dani Bowerman who supports the entire operation of the Department. The Police Clerk is Sandi Vosburg who answers phone calls, responds to questions and performs various other duties.
